Martin and I are preparing ourselves for a long day as we are now accustomed to everything taking much longer than at home.

Firstly, to the shipping agent, this took an hour, then off to the port, this took 1 ½ hours, then to the customs office which 4 hours. So, all in all 6 ½ hours.

So all going to plan then

All cities have the beautiful and the ugly. Here's Mombasa at its worse.

BUT JOB DONE WE HAVE THE TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!

I know its behind the gate but when I got in I was too excited to take any more pictures.

We have to give a massive thanks to the agent and out tut tut driver, Maina, for being with us all day and getting the truck released just before closing.

The trip starts tomorrow but for now we are settling in to a well-deserved G&T.
