Martin and I arrived safe and sound in Nairobi late last night. Martins' apartment booking was interesting as I thought we were being taken away to be robbed on route. But all went well.
After an early morning start we arrived in Mombasa and to the delights a of a basic but idyllic little hotel on Shelley Beach. Also discovered a pool side bar with wifi close by that as expected will be showing the Chelsea game.

No news on the truck as of yet but hopeful we might get it tomorrow.

Martin and I are getting to know each other (as travelling companions) but I didn't realise that 3 o clock is tins G& T time. I had tea with milk. NO WATER.

Martin is also taking on the local quisine with gusto and to date has had no ill effects. As a seasoned traveller I am taking it a bit easier.
