Morning Campers.
Hopefully going to be a big day today. We hope to drive to Moshi (4 hours) for a close up of Kilimanjaro and then on to Arusha, (2 hours) so we will be closer to the Ngorongoro Conservation ( I can't say it either con - ser - vat -ion).

On the truck, I had a quick look at it this morning and can't see any damage, but because I haven't got a clue what I am looking at I am just hoping for the best really. Oh yeah, it seems to be stuck in 4 wheel drive but that is a bonus right?????
Here is the hole the truck went into yesterday. I can report that having reached Arusha she was brilliant. We have subsequently named her Betsy, a game old girl that will do her best not to let you down, even if you mistreat her. We hope. Any alternative suggestions are welcome and will be considered.
Regarding Kili, I am disappointed to say that we had very poor viewing as the clouds were too numerous and low lying. We settled for a burger and OJ and headed on to Arusha. Sorry no photos.
Fabulous journey and arrived in good time for late afternoon shower and to get some clothes washed courtesy of the lovely Baraka Inn. Typical low key motel but with clean sheets and hot water. Bonus.
And it's raining, so bloody humid
Tonight we are partaking in Ribs, at a traditional rib joint that is a garage by day and restaurant at night. Won't be too worried about the grease then.
Tomorrow off to Ngorongoro and hopefully some game watching.
PS. A big thank you to Amy for getting me the lonely planet book for my birthday. It has been a godsend and we would be lost without it xx. Ellie I'm looking forward to spiralizing my veg when I get back. xx Charlie all your first aid kit is still intact and will hopefully stay that way but big thanks to xx
PPS. As the money is so dirty here I have to get mine washed along with the clothes. DOH
Glad to hear the truck has a name........Betsy was the name of our old Cortina estate from about 1975 so she will do you proud!!
